Mumbai Heroes lose to Karnataka Bulldozers

In the second match of the CELEBRITY CRICKET LEAGUE on Sunday, Karnataka Bulldozers had won against Mumbai Heroes by 13 runs.

Batting first Karnataka Bulldozers scored 168-6 in 20 overs. Pradeep was the highest scorer for the team with 57 runs off 46 balls.

In response, Mumbai Heroes were crushed for 155 in 19.5 overs. Varun Badola scored 50 runs in the innings.

Pradeep was declared MAN OF THE MATCH for his magical score of 57 runs and his spell of 2 wickets in 2.5 overs.

CCL2 - Mumbai Heroes lose to Kerala Strikers

On Sunday, the second match of CCL2 at Kochi witnessed the match between Mumbai Heroes and Kerala Strikers. After winning the toss and chosing to bat first, Mumbai Heroes scored 128-9 in 20 overs.

In reply, the Kerala Strikers smashed Mumbai Heroes to achieve the target in 17 overs without losing any wicket. Rajeev Pillai was chosen 'Man of the Match' for his big knock of 75 runs.

This is the first win for Kerala Strikers at their homeground Kochi.

Mumbai Heroes registers their first win at CCL 2

Mumbai Heroes registered their their first victory of Celebrity Cricket League - season 2 by 23 runs over Chennai Rhinos on Saturday. After a nail-biting tie in the first game of the season this Friday at the same venue, Mumbai Heroes led by Suniel Shetty proved that they were not to be taken lightly this season. Mumbai Heroes skipper Suniel Shetty won the toss and opted to bat first. The team set a stiff target of 148 from Chennai Rhinos. Mumbai Heroes finally won in the last over, after Chennai managed only 123 for 6 in their 20-overs.
